Nick started martial arts training at an early age his dad was a black belt in the Korean Martial Arts specificaly Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. Nick boxed and competed in submission wrestling in high school, he met Allan Goes in 2003 and started MMA and Ju Jitsu.
