Robert Alexander McCullough IV (born May 26, 1977) is an American Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He was a five-time World Muay Thai champion, and is a former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) lightweight champion. He is now currently back in Irvine training at No Limits Gym, under Coach Colin Oyama.
McCullough defeated Muay Thai fighter Kit Cope at WEC 25 to take over the vacant WEC lightweight title. On February 13, 2008, he lost his title to Jamie Varner when Varner defeated him by TKO due to strikes in the third round.
McCullough is expected to return to the octagon against Anthony Pettis on November 11, 2009 at WEC 44.
Successful weekend at the International MMA Expo (IMMAE)
Eruption Inc. had a very successful showing at the International MMA Expo this past weekend (August 29 & 30, 2009).
The reception of the new clothing line was overwhelmingly positive and everyone had a great time.
Fans were also treated to have their pictures taken with, and getting autographs from, Team Eruption MMA fighters Shannon "The Cannon" Ritch, Cris Cyborg and Razor Rob McCullough as well as several other fighters including Marcus Gaines, Chris David and more.
