Neal Mims
Neal Mims was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida and has been skating for 27 years. When he was a teenager he knew he wanted to pursue a career in skateboarding. He has had to overcome quite a few obstacles to get to where he is today.
He came to California to live the dream and has been fortunate enough to do so. He was on the cover of Transworld Skateboarding magazine in July of 1999, with a video part to follow it up in Feedback. He turned pro that very same year.
He has traveled the world doing what he loves to do, his life with skateboarding has been a blessing. It has saved his life!
He also was on the cover of Big Brother magazine in June of 2001. He has had multiple coverage in every skateboarding magazine and skateboarding videos out there.
He has overcome some personal these issues that briefly sidelined his career and is still very involved in skateboarding today. Life is full of learning lessons and he has learned from his mistakes, that what you put in, is what you get back. He is now a full time single dad and living the dream again.
